OPEN is a Madison-based non-profit that welcomes all LGBTQIA2S+ humans and allied individuals.  We are community-centered and career-driven individuals who are committed to building equitable and inclusive experiences, workplaces, events and opportunities within the LGBTQIA2S+ community. 

Vision: OPEN believes in demonstrating personal and professional leadership as stewards of an inclusive community where all are equal and valued. 

Mission: OPEN welcomes diverse LGBTQ+ and allied professionals to share perspectives and experiences in connecting, developing, and building a vibrant community.

OPEN Programs

Mighty Networks Online Community

OPEN provides exclusive access to a private, online platform for building your network, engaging with the community, and accessing events. OPEN encourages dialogue around workplace support and share job opportunities for LGBTQ+ community.

Community Events

Dane County is rich in community events and OPEN encourages participation and collaboration. We promote community events for members to attend and participate in. OPEN members can engage with other organizations on behalf of OPEN and the LGBTQ+ community, a win-win!

Social Events  

OPEN understands that networks are built through community. So we offer social gatherings for LGBTQ+ people to get to know each other and find new connections. 

Networking Events 

OPEN’s core events are our monthly networking events. From our Coffee and Co-working to our Mix & Mingles, our events are designed to foster networking and build community.
